| ABOUT US
Continuing
Medical Education for Clinicians (CME for
Clinicians) is a corporation founded by physicians and
nurses who see the need for medical conferences to be presented in a
manner better than currently exists today.
We will utilize
teaching techniques and audiovisual presentations designed to
capture your intellectual curiosity as a physician and person. In
addition, live medicine in action (clinical demonstrations) will
also supplement many lectures.
Our vision is to
produce a conference that will give you the information you need as
a clinician (physician, nurse, physician assistant, other) to
enhance and update your practice of safe and effective medicine.
This is
accomplished by the selection of lecturers who currently practice in
their field of expertise and have ample experience as teachers. Each
lecturer will in turn provide you with meaningful information about
each topic: definition and review of basic sciences (pathophysiology),
discussion of diagnostic method (specific lab studies, radiographic
studies, physical exam findings), and dispersion of treatment
protocols which we as specialists currently utilize. Finally, as
possible each topic will be effectively summarized by a discussion
of long term management of patients.
The goal of this
conference will have been met if you, prompted by your own
intellectual and personal enjoyment of the experience, are able to
return to your clinical facility and implement what you have
learned. Please give us your feedback.
